I’m from the great state of North Carolina.  I only speak English BUT I can read in Spanish.


List interesting facts about you:   

My favorite color is purple. 
I auditioned and was admitted to the undergraduate dance program at UNC-Greensboro in 2005 but I decided to pursue science. I remain connected to the arts through lighting design.  I am the third generation of educators in my family. 
I have a sister…..she’s the best present my parents ever got me.
